About Louise

About me

I was born and brought up in Kenya. I have always lead an outdoors lifestyle and involved myself in sports and physical activities both competitively and for leisure. My journey into yoga and holistic therapies  began in Kenya when I was 16 and I started to understand the connection between the mind and body. I qualified as a reflexologist at the age of 17 when still at school and then done my aromatherapy not long after leaving school. The more I practised yoga, the better my sports and academic results became. I have not looked back.

Since the age of 21 I have lived in Wales and continued to live a physical lifestyle as much as possible. I have a degree in sports and outdoor education.I have three children and have been working in the fitness industry teaching Zumba, Aqua Zumba and Yoga.

I now live on one of the only organic farms in Carmarthenshire and believe in promoting a holistic lifestyle offering organic fruit and vegetables combined with a sensible physical exercise programme with lots of yoga. I aim to live a fun, balanced and healthy lifestyle and I try to teach and inspire others to do the same.

I love helping people improve their mobility, health, well-being and happiness and enjoy communicating with a friendly down to earth style.I endeavour to help all my students reach their goals, however big or small. I also work on a one to one basis helping individuals realise and achieve their aims both physically and mentally.

About my practices

I have been practising yoga for over 25 years and I draw much of my inspiration from teachers such as Shiva Rea and Seane Corn. My yoga teachings incorporate Hatha yoga and Vinyasa (flow yoga) and my classes are designed to suit all ages and levels of flexibility and fitness.

I am a qualified holistic therapist who currently runs a mobile business offering aromatherapy, reflexology and Indian Head massage.

I particularly enjoy working on yoga retreats locally and abroad and find that so much can be achieved when time can be dedicated to practice. Of course yoga retreats are always in beautiful locations which adds to the experience.
